Overall I enjoyed this film. It's not the best superhero or DC film (maybe the best Batman film if you want to be technical 😅) but it served its purpose. Far as the secret ending goes if DC/WBD wanted to really capalitize on it they should've made alternate endings exclusive to certain theaters such as Regal and AMC while the standard played in all the other theaters. For additional profit, James Gunn could add the new Bruce Wayne/Batman on the Blu-Ray set or MAX App (whichever makes them more money). Solid film, highly recommend people to go see The Flash (preferably on Screen X or IMAX if the theater has good seating). â€‹â€‹

Grade: I give The Flash a 9.4 (Near Mint)

Movie Review:

The Flash

My Opinions: I waited to post this review because there a few things I wanted to talk about that might've been spoilers for people (plus I wanted to show off pics from Screen X). First off kudos to DC for making a movie with a real threat and maintaining the concerned tone. The scene where Future Barry (aka Barry-One for this review) asked annoying Young Barry (Barry-Two) does he not understand the gravity of the situation. I felt that because that's how I feel about most of the Marvel films with all the comedy bits, especially the last two Thor films. They took two very serious storylines and treated them like it was just another day in the park. Anyway, The Flash has a good timing mix between comedic and dramatic moments (unlike Marvel). Even though the CGI looks weird at times it fits the tone of the film (far as replicating dead actors, Disney's Star Wars CGI is on point).

I still don't like Ezra Miller not because of his personal antics. He doesn't come off as Barry Allen, he feels more like Wally West. Barry-Two was so annoying I wanted to punch him too. Still hate how he runs but I think it was there so the film could make fun of it when he lost his speed.

Michael Keaton was fantastic! Him looking like Alan Moore fighting the Barrys in the kitchen was great. I love hearing him talk because he always manages to capture my attention like no one else, especially during his time travel explanation using the spaghetti (speaking of spaghetti the film had so much talk about pasta in the film we ended up at Willy's Kitchen for pasta night 😅). Love the new Batwing! Wish the new Spinmaster or McFarlane Batwing spins like the one in the film. I was sad he died in the film (spoiler) because now I feel like he can never have a proper Batman Beyond film with him as Old Man Bruce Wayne (and what is up with the DCEU/TV only having old ass Batmen?).

I love all the easter eggs. It was great seeing/hearing each of the DCEU's characters' cameos & whereabouts in the film. I'm still rooting for Gal Gadot to be in the DCU. I love visually how Flash ran to Gotham. Lastly...baby shower. ðŸ˜…😂😂

Nitpicks of the movie. I dislike the costumes. Ezra Miller

looks like The Noid especially when the screen zoomed

in on his head. Ben Affleck looked like he was either

having a wardrobe malfunction or he was only wearing

half of the suit when he was on the bridge with Barry

(which was probably the most awkward scene in the film

granted it was supposed to be but it was too awkward). Didn't like Kara's costume either because I really disliked those print/sub-dye-looking suits. They're this generation Party City type costumes. I don't even like it when real professional cosplayers wear them. They so cheap looking I literally despise those suits! Anyway while I'm talking about Kara how were the Kryptonians able to pierce a blade through her body if she is invulnerable? I find it interesting how weak Supergirl was in this film given the Kryptonaians didn't even have the Superman level powers since their armor blocks the yellow sun energy to give them superpowers. â€‹
