Hey Pizanos, just finished the Super Mario Bros. Movie a few hours ago. So I'm just going to give you a quick spoiler-free review...

Plot: Italian-American brothers Mario Mario and

Luigi Mario have recently started a plumbing

business in Brooklyn. Their father disapproves

of Mario's decision to leave his steady job under

his antagonistic ex-employer Spike and believes

he's dragging Luigi down with him. After seeing a

significant manhole leak on the news, Mario and

Luigi goes underground to fix it but are sucked into

a Warp Pipe which separated them to an alternate world and become entangled in a battle between the Mushroom Kingdom, led by Princess Peach, and the Koopas, led by Bowser.

My Thoughts: Super Mario Bros. definitely an enjoyable movie for any age. Tons of easter eggs which I'm sure YouTubers such as New Rockstars & Watch Mojo will cover so stay tuned. My first real thought about this movie it took story plots

from Legend of Micah and Beat Down Boogie's

Mario Warfare series. If you haven't seen it I

HIGHLY recommend you do so. I wish they had

some Super Mario 3 powers such as Kuribo's Shoe.

Overall this movie had me wanting to go home and

watch the Super Mario Bros 3 cartoon (especially

because of the end fight). Given the ending credits,

it looks like there will be a sequel. This movie was parfait. My only gripe there were times I didn't care for Bowser. Occasionally he would feel out of character to me. Oh well, that's all I have for my review.

Score: 4.5 Star Men out of 5
